Summary

Fort Valley State University is seeking a part-time nursing program specialist for the new Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program. The program has been approved by the University System of Georgia (USG) and is seeking approval form the Georgia Board of Nursing (GBON). Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the program specialist will assist the Nursing Director and faculty with:

  • nursing lab development
  • securing clinical partnerships,
  • Georgia Board of Nursing and accreditation reports, and program assessment
  • supervising clinical in selected nursing course as needed

Qualifications

  • Graduate Degree in Nursing. Doctorate in Nursing preferred
  • Expertise in Nursing Education, Curriculum Development, Program Assessment and Accreditation
  • An unencumbered Registered Professional Nurse License in the state of Georgia.
  • Five (5) + years' experience in professional nursing practice.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a team.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
