NTIA Project Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

This position supports the University National Telecommunication Information and Administration Project by overseeing project compliance with federal award management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage project spending in accordance with approved project budget.
  • Develop detailed Project workplan/timeline with milestones that tracks the work of all Project staff; Update timeline on weekly basis; communicate timeline expectations to all staff and contractors.
  • Lead hiring activities for Project, ensuring that postings, interviews and offers comply with organizational policies and practices and federal requirements.
  • Assist in the recruitment of participants and Tech Navigators.
  • Assist with the data management of participant.
  • Research sources for outside resources necessary for Project; as needed, negotiate to acquire outside resources.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Ability to work to agreed objectives and deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to a wide variety of assignments.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT:

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
  • May be required to knee, squat, or stand for extended periods to capture images.
  • Must be able to travel including overnight travel at times.
  • Must be able to take photos in an outdoor environment at times.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or similar related field.

Previous working experience as a Project Manager for 3 years or more.
