Instructor - Electronic Engineering Technology Program
The Fort Valley State University invites applications for an Instructor - Electronic Engineering Technology Program position in the Department of Engineering Technology for Fall 2020. The BSEET program is TAC/ABET accredited.
Location: FVSU Main Campus
Department: College of Agriculture, Family Sciences & Technology Engineering Technology Department
Responsibilities:
- Full-time teaching of undergraduate courses in EET and in the area of electric circuits, analog and digital electronics, engineering drafting using AutoCAD, electronic communication systems, and design contents in EET courses;
- Participate and contribute in the EET program outcome assessment and continuous improvement plan for ABET;
- Serve on committees as needed;
- Provide student advisement and recruitment;
- Administer laboratory development/improvement; and
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering Technology, or closely related field;
- B.S. degree must be in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering Technology;
- Two years of teaching at the college level in the U.S.;
- Must demonstrate strong commitment to undergraduate teaching;
- Possess good communication skills, and
- Have commitment for developing student technical abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of industrial experience in the U.S.
